At the end of the twentieth century the world is teetering on the brink of total annihilation. But in a small Southern California community just outside of Los Angeles, a young man named Jesse is fighting against the tide of darkness. When a cataclysmic earthquake devastates the west coast, he and his followers are forced to find a way to survive in the aftermath. But the elements are not their only enemy. From somewhere among their ranks an ancient evil arises to destroy them all, starting with Jesse and his wife, Emma.
