Rev J. L. Byers

The Reverend J.L. Byers, author of "Broken World" was born in Norfolk, Virginia on August 8, 1977. He grew up in a low income neighborhood and attended inner city schools. Violence and fear were commonplace, race struggles, societal class struggles and friends dead or disabled from gang warfare were a daily part of life. His refuge from the chaos was fantasy.
