This full color atlas focuses on advances in understanding the epidemiology and carcinogenesis in urothelial cancer and the pathogenesis of different forms of urothelial cancer. The text examines the new means of diagnosing and characterizing the prognosis of the various types of urothelial cancer, and the new approaches to treatment of the different types of urothelial cancer in comparison to what has been standard for the urinary bladder and the upper tracts. The contributors provide a critical assessment of current knowledge and understanding in their particular area of expertise and present recent advances that have expanded their area and could lead to further future investigations.
