Banned under instructions of Vilasrao Deshmukh (ex-chief minister of Maharashtra) in 2007 on grounds of sec. 153 IPC after jammat-i-islami and other Muslim Organizations submitted written complaints against the English and Marathi copies of the books already in circulation since 2003.
