Jackie Reid left her old life behind to start fresh in Alaska, where she tells her friends she's a widow. But when her ex-husband, Sam Mulvaney, shows up, Jackie realizes her simple life is about to become very complicated. Sam left Jackie seventeen years earlier in a dispute over the baby they lost - the baby that Sam believed his wife aborted.
