The core of the volume interprets results of a survey on religious freedom as of early 2007 in 101 countries and territories that together contain something like 95% of the world's population. Introductory essays discuss such matters as religious freedom and national security, European trends, the former Soviet Union, and economics and religion. Appendices contain survey texts, methodology, and data. There is no index. Published in conjunction with the Center for Religious Freedom at the Hudson Institute.
