Satellite!

This is the first book published about artificial satellites. It came out a year before Sputnik was launched. The authors believed that the U.S. Navy's "Vanguard" would be the first satellite. This book anticipates many of the uses that today are commonplace. "Satellite!" is a good marker for the history of space flight.
