Published on June 27, 2006, The New Essential Guide to Droids was written by Daniel Wallace and illustrated by Ian Fullwood. At 224 pages, the guide covers 90 droids divided into the five classes of intelligence, as well as four cyborgs, a history of droids, a layperson's guide to droids, and an overview of major manufacturers.
