Eva sleeps

Story of Eva, a forty-year-old from Alto Adige. One night Eva receives a phone call from Reggio Calabria, in southern Italy. Vito, a carabiniere who served for years in Alto Adige, is dying and would like to see Eva one last time. Vito served in Alto Adige during the seventies, years of darkness and tension. However, that did not stop the love between Vito, and Gerda, Eva's mother, a young cook from Alto Adige and the sister of a terrorist. Vito is the only man that Eva ever considered a father. Whatever happened to the love between Vito and Gerda?
