Six years ago, Eden Fleming discovered her fiance was a woodland spirit who needed an heir to end the exile imposed on him. Devastated, Eden fled and married another. Awakened from a five-year sleep, Lord Hern is informed that Eden has returned with the boy he'd been told was dead. Vowing vengeance, Hern assumes the identity of a servant.
