When Chase Carver drags himself into Mammoth Springs he is cold, hungry and exhausted, willing to accept help from anyone. A stranger takes him in, but leads him to an outlaw stronghold filled with thieves and gunmen. After joining them on a bank job and earning himself the name Mad Dog, the sheriff and the army are on his tail.
