Welcome back to West Texas -- and the Parker Ranch! The best man for the job. That's Morgan Hughes. A field inspector for the Texas Cattleman's Association, he's a cattle rustler's nightmare and every woman's dream. Now he's been asked three favors by his good friend Rafe Parker: to be best man at Rafe's wedding, to take over as temporary forman of the Parker family's ranch and to investigate a mysterious woman named Christine Grant. Seems that the lovely Christine and her eight-year-old daughter have just arrived at the Parker Ranch with illusions of having inherited shares in it.
