*Tratat pentru nemurire* or *Trattato per l'immortalità* (2016), is a Romanian-Italian bilingual collection of philosophical poems by Dumitru Găleşanu. The book's motto, a quote by Albert Einstein, suggests that life should be lived as something magical. Starting from the generous title chosen by the author, the works presented in this book are characterized by a great stylistic and thematic variety, and deal with existential, philosophical and human themes, from love, life and the health of the Earth, to human and divine justice. This approach gives Găleșanian poetics a seductive atypicality, drawing the reader into an ideal, extra-sensory world, but at the same time linking him to the reality of concrete social life. The volume aims to reveal the « appearances » of the real-existent world from the perspective of a « pure-metaphysical nature » and integrates into a meta-literary, postmodern poetics, major cultural-artistic references, cutting-edge scientific and philosophical conceptions, from the Big Bang to M-theory. The volume *Tratat pentru nemurire* is reflective, meticulous and clear, like any large-scale spiritual journey, which tries to capture the fundamental experiences of humanity, probing new, integrative and harmonious frontiers in a fragile and ever-adrift world.
