The O.C. - Orange County, California. Land of luxury yachts, exotic cars, seaside estates, and extravagant dreams. And it's home to Benjamin Cannon and Sidney Picket. His "extravagant" dream is to spend some time living on the Texas Goose, a 230-foot yacht owned by oil tycoon Quentin Gosling, while he sorts out life's priorities, maybe starts a new career. Okay, so it's not the most ambitious dream, but it's ambition nonetheless. Only thing is it doesn't register as ambition to Picket, the no-nonsense ex-Navy Lt. Commander captaining the Goose. To her it seems a lot like freeloading - even if she finds Cannon more than a little attractive. And Cannon's dreams aren't getting too much cooperation from the Mexican pirates who attacked his friends sixty-foot Warwick sloop off the Baja peninsula, involving him and Picket in a complicated plot of corruption and international intrigue that would test even Captain Jack Sparrow's questionable morality. Some cussing, some killing, some foreplay, some fun, emotional justice, and a kick-ass ending.
