What a gorgeous book! And very easy to read. Ms. Hansen has divided the book into areas of interest rather than using strict chronology, so you can pick it up at your leisure without getting lost. Check out the ceramic tiles -- to die for! Plus, I swear I have seen some of Day's original patterns in use today in fabric and wallpaper. Even if you just like pretty pictures, this book is a must.
