When a female fire fighter is harassed by her peers for surviving a Seattle fire while her three male colleagues died, Fire Chief Mac Fontana works to clear her name and discover the secrets behind the suspicious blaze. Mac runs smack into the old-boy network in the Seattle fire department, and finds much more than he expected. Lots of inter-departmental intrigue and action in this one, as Mac confronts his own past facing a similar situation.
