Transfixed by this exotic world, she imagines that one day she'll visit the land of hieroglyphs and history. But instead Rose finds herself being forced to marry Harry Fallon, a man who is both handsome and duplicitous. With Harry, Rose finds both passion and a terrible secret - so she heads out alone on a journey to Egypt.
