Fatherless and cast off as a baby by her mother, Micki Forrester's only family has been Gram, the energetic woman who raised Micki from birth. When, as adult, Micki leaves for a long-anticipated tour of the Holy Lands, she never guesses that secrets about her past are traveling with her. When news reaches Micki that Gram has been hospitalized, she wants to return to the States immediately.
