While there is no sensual content, yet the intense subject is NOT for Children? Actually, CORRECTION - The author's message and her warnings to the children may be intended for 10-yr. olds...... We adults like to believe innocence is kept much longer… This story made a lasting impact on me… It's been yrs. since I first read it... It is still a favorite.
