Sebbie's first loyalty is to her mother and sisters. All of the Hanford women are struggling to keep their Florida ranch running after the death of their husband and father, Jed. In the face of dire poverty, Mama decides that Sebbie must marry a wealthy man who can also provide for her four younger sisters. Sebbie reluctantly agrees - but then meets Griffin Parks. A tall, handsome gentleman. Unfortunately, he's a penniless cowboy, just like Sebbie's father. Will she deny her love for Griffin and encourage the attentions of the local banker's son?
