This is the first in a series of short stories based around Detective Charles Patsy. A native of Dallas, who is bored with the job and the lack of fulfillment from the lack of common sense the criminals in his city posses. Patroling as a loner, there have been a few cases where he formed a team to help him in case of an emergency. Over the course of a few months, a string of robberies sparked the detective's interest. Sophisticated and aware of the department's protocol when handling such crimes. Can the detective find out who is behind it before it's too late? Will he need to use his new team and test his trust with them?
