This is a tips, strategy and walkthrough guide to Personal Computer (PC), IBM format video game 'Quake', covering the 'Shareware' and 'Registered' visions of the game. There is a gray-scale screen shot excerpts for each of the items, weapons, and enemies, there are no full screen shots of the game being played. There is a diagram type floor plan for each of the missions, along with details at what to do at various points in the mission. After the main walkthrough there is a listing of cheat codes programmed into the game, and programmer options titles 'Quake Console' that tells you how to change the characters color and other programmed elements of the game, but is not about the home console versions of the game. The last sections have tips on 'Network' multiplayer arenas, and error messages, and playing the game on the internet.
