Jerome D. Schein

In 1960, Dr. Jerome Daniel Schein became professor of psychology and director of the Office of Psychological at Gallaudet University. In order to teach the hearing imparied and deaf students, he learned American Sign Language. He also worked with the District of Columbia Psychological Association, and served as its president.
