Joanne Marie Tompkins

Dr. Joanne Marie Tompkins is a Professor in the Faculty of Education at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Her research interests include inclusion, decolonizing teaching practices and school leadership, and studying how preservice and in-service educators engage with LGBTQ+ students, students living in poverty, and Aboriginal learners.
