Dr. Michael James Hudson received a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry from the University of Hull in 1962. In 1965 he received a Ph.D. in Chemistry from University College in London, with a thesis on properties of the complexes formed by platinum and palladium with o-phenylene–bis(dimethylarsine).
