Sarah Owens Hammock is the author of the two Gator Pervis books, with the newest titled "You Can't Have More Babysitters Than Gator Pervis". In this new beginning reader, Gator continues enjoying being a boy, with the title character being drawn from the boys she grew up with in her hometown of Wewahitchka, Florida.
