George Frederick Zimmer

George Frederick Zimmer was born in Francfurt, Germany in 1854. He followed his father into the profession of Civil Engineer. He became a naturalised Britsh Citizen after his arrival in London. (Census) He became interested in mining and industrialisation and particularly labour saving mecanisation of raw materials after the decimation of workforce caused by the 1914/18 war.
