Lyudmila Evgenyevna Ulitskaya (Russian: Людмила Евгеньевна Улицкая) is an internationally acclaimed modern Russian novelist and short-story writer who, in 2014, was awarded the prestigious Austrian State Prize for European Literature for her oeuvre.
