Elizabeth Hall

Elizabeth Hall was born in Bakersfield, California. She received her B.A. in English from Fresno State College and was working as a public librarian in Shafter, California, when she met and fell in love with the author Scott O'Dell. He encourage her to pursue writing, and her first children’s book, *Micromegas*, was published in 1967.
