Paul F. Brandwein

Paul Franz Brandwein emigrated from Austria prior to WWII. As a child, he spent time in hospitals receiving treatment for childhood arthritis, and he developed an interest in science at that time. He earned a B.Sc. degree from New York University. While working on his undergraduate degree, he was also an assistant at the Littnauer Pneumonia Research Laboratory.
