John M. Bowen

Dr. John M. Bowen served on the faculty of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine from 1963 to 1997. As a Professor, he taught pharmacology, toxicology and neurophysiology. In 1976, he became the Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Affairs and the first Director of the newly established Veterinary Medical Experiment Station, positions he held for 18 years.
