John Avery Emison

Emison is an environmental scientist with a Ph.D. in resource geography from Oregon State University (1979), an M.S. from Memphis (1974), and B.A. from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee (1972). He is the father of three grown children. Emison is President of Citizens for Home Rule, Inc., the largest independent property rights and anti-annexation organization in the State of Tennessee.
