Lieutenant Colonel James H. Henderson, “Cotton,” played football for the University of Southern Mississippi from ‘73-‘77, was a Law Enforcement Offi cer in the State of Mississippi from ‘78-‘85, and was commissioned a 2d Lieutenant and assigned to the Quartermaster Corps following completion of his Master’s Degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in May 1985.
