Jack Jones

Jack Jones, a Welsh miner, Trade Union official, politician, novelist and playwright, was born at Tai-Harri-Blawdd in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales. During his 20's Jack began to educate himself and develop his love of the theatre and writing. From 1920-1929, Jack was a speaker for the Communist Party, then the Labour Party, and finally the Liberal Party.
