Diney Costeloe, also writes using the name; Diney Delancey. She is the daughter of a London publisher. She wrote her first book at the age of five. She attended college, qualifying as a primary school teacher. She was shortlisted by BBC Woman's Hour, so feeling encouraged she sent a manuscript off to publisher; Robert Hale.
