Master's Degree in Greek Philology at the University of Palermo (Italy), 1981. Then, PhD in Philosophy of Language at Viadrina-Universität, Frankfurt/Oder (Germany) January 2001. He is now Associate Professor of Semiotics and Philosophy of Language, University of Macerata (Italy), Department of Human Studies (since 2002).
