María del Carmen Iglesias

María del Carmen Iglesias Cano (Madrid, March 16, 1942) is a Spanish historian, professor and academic, expert in the 18th century. She has been a member of the Royal Academy of History since 1991, an institution she has directed since 2014, being the first woman to hold the position.
