Shankar Balaji Shastri

Born at Deori near Saugar, Madhya Pradesh, Shankar Balaji Shastri moved to Amravati and eventually settled in Nagpur where he taught languages at St. John's after an active literary career, part of which included lyrical compositions for the Balawant Sangeet Mandali, to be sung by Master Dinanth.
