Berners, Gerald Hugh Tyrwhitt-Wilson Baron

Gerald Hugh Tyrwhitt-Wilson was born in Apley Hall, Shropshire, the son of a naval officer descended from King Edward III of England. At the age of nine years, he was sent to a boarding school in Cheam, where he had a brief affair with an older student. After prep school he attended Eton College.
