Regine Allgayer-Kaufmann

Allgayer-Kaufmann, Regine (b Stuttgart, Germany, 11 August 1950) studied pedagogics, music, and German literature at the Ludwigsburg College of Education and Stuttgart University (1969-72), examined in 1972 and worked as a primary school teacher in West Berlin (1972-4). She studied musicology (1974-86) at the Universities of Göttingen and Berlin and took the doctorate in ethnomusicology in 1986.
