the long version
After an absence of two years, Lexa was returning to her loved and loving step family, to be warmly welcomed by them all - all except her disturbingly attractive stepbrother Jase. It was obvious that there was already bad feeling - to put it mildly - between Jase and his younger brother Nick, since Jase had apparently stolen Eva, the girl Nick loved; but why drag Lexa into it? And why did Jase resent the friendship between Lexa and Nick, when he also made it clear that he didn't care about Lexa anyway?
