Modern Glacial Environments provides a current and comprehensive survey of the glaciology, geomorphology and sedimentology of modern glaciers and ice sheets through an appreciation of the processes, dynamics and sediments found in these environments. The book presents university students with a comprehensive review of modern research and ideas on glacial environments incorporating glaciology, glacial geomorphology and geology and sedimentology.
