In the Penza region near the motel "Nad Suroĭ" the director of the Moscow bank "Amalgam", Kirill Sotskiĭ, is killed by a shot in the head. It is quickly established that the motive for the murder is jealousy. The case is almost closed, but then two months later in almost the same place, new bank director Gleb Arbenin is killed when his car is crushed by a load of timber. Is it an accident, or is it connected to the previous murder?
