Dr. Cari Eliss had left her native California under a cloud, unable to convince her family that she was not a liar, but touring the Australian Outback was no real answer, and, when she crashed her truck into a kangaroo and ended up in the Flying Doctor Service hospital at Slatey Creek with a broken pelvis, Dr. Blair Kinnane was determined to find the truth.
