A story about money and morality, how need turns into greed, and the consequences of compromised principles. A tale full of intrigue and suspense, about how the desire to make money easily and quickly leads to deception, corruption and ultimately to crime. Set in the 1970's in New York City, Stella and Pat are two young scholars. Each of the women, for different personal reasons, says 'yes' to the attractive opportunity to make money through ingenious investment deals that first seem fun and harmless, but which subsequently develop into a frightening nightmare.
