A very likable children's book about an educated city troll from Uppsala and his experiences in the deep troll forests of Tiveden, where he learns more than he expected to. In particular, the value of practical skills and the joy of unselfishness. The sophisticated humour in the story makes it suitable for reading aloud to children; the adult will enjoy it and the child will benefit from having some particularly clever turns explained to him. Rare book, Swedish first edition 1955, never reprinted.
