When a casual intimacy develops between Emilija and Petar, they find themselves continuously resisting the idea that it might be something more. Petar is a married man struggling with issues of loyalty when his chance encounters with Emilija take him out of the material world and into the world of Emilija's dreams. She, in turn, struggles to understand why he is there, why her moral and devout nature are being challenged. Between them is an overwhelming sense that what's happening is more than infatuation.
