It's her fault

An aging university professor insists to Detective Frank Vandegraf that his estranged wife is trying to kill him, but the problem is that she's nowhere to be found. A relative claims that it's the other way around: the husband is actually threatening to kill his wife. When the professor turns up murdered shortly thereafter, with a mysterious note lying on his chest that says 'IT'S HER FAULT', Frank redoubles his efforts to locate the missing wife, his prime suspect. But when he does, the case becomes even more baffling ...
