Sobre o livro
This study traces the narratives of Orthodox Greeks who remained in Anatolia despite being subjected to forced migration between 1919 and 1925, and became Muslims at the time. In this context, while the concept of migration is associated with the concept of memory, memory clearly shows that it serves as a field of struggle. For decades they have been talking silent stories. Why do people migrate? Is it immigrated? Will the people who live with the migration agree with the feelings and thoughts, narratives, history of migration? Does every individual who is subject to forced migration migrate? What happens if there are any holdovers?
