This book is the result of a project to harness the talents of more than 25,000 professional, amateur, and student photographers, requiring them to digitally record their communities and submit their photos, via the internet, to 36 leading photo editors from across the U.S. The "best" 713 images were chosen to create this panoramic glimpse of life-in-process in Minnesota.
